As I am working on my wedding plans, I flashed back to my prom night.  I think our prom night is a mini preparation for our wedding day minus the things we should not be doing because we’re still in high school (yeah right - lol). Seriously there are similarities for sure, like prom favors vs. wedding favors, or prom garters vs. wedding garters - just to name a few. The last thing I want to do in preparation for prom night is to give each of my best friends a personalized prom favors and then I’ll feel like I’ve got to do everything I’ve thought about for prom night.

Everything at my wedding and reception represented the oceanside.  From decorations to wedding favors, it all came in a beach motif.  The beautiful wedding frame I chose for our bride and groom picture also had a touch of sand and surf.  There were a lot of themed wedding frames to choose from, and I think I picked out one of the prettiest photo frames they had.  Even my husband commented on it, and he doesn’t usually pay attention to things like that.  Now my wedding photo frame holds the picture of our first moments as man and wife.

She comes up with such great bachelorette party ideas, like having a girls night out party for the bride to be.  She even bought girls night out invitations and girl party favors.  She said she got the idea while helping her friend pick out wedding favors for the reception and decided it would be perfect for her friends bachelorette party.  I can hardly wait.

My girlfriend makes flower girl gifts.  I feel so lucky to have a friend that will do this for my wedding.  She makes them by hand and they are so lovely.  I am looking forward to seeing the end product.  I was trying to decide between the bearer flower girl gifts, gifts for flower girl and the personalized flower girl gifts.  When I picked up the final product, I was thrilled.  She surprised me with the style.  It was even better than I imaged it would be.  My girlfriend truly has made me very happy.  I wonder if she could make the wedding favors too.  That would be so awesome!  Could I be that lucky?  I will check into that idea as soon as I can.
